My Journey in Cyber Security

My passion for cyber security grew from humble beginnings—designing websites for friends, experimenting with code, and solving problems late into the night. What started as a creative outlet soon became a serious pursuit. In 2012, I began formal studies in computing with an HNC, then deepened my technical foundations through an HND in 2017. I earned my BSc in 2020, and now, as I approach the final year of my MSc in Cyber Security at Manchester Metropolitan University, I’m more committed than ever. This journey has shaped not just my skillset—building APIs, mastering unit testing strategies, and applying LINQ for efficient data processing—but also my mindset. I'm now focused on bridging code with security, using my development experience to design systems that are not only functional but resilient. My goal is simple: contribute to a more secure digital future by combining analytical thinking with real-world technical know-how.

My Expertise & What I Bring

• Cyber Security Strategy & Consulting: I leverage my experience in creating and managing virtual network environments (Cisco Packet Tracer, Oracle VirtualBox) to simulate and test secure architectures, informing robust security strategy and design.
• Incident Response & Digital Forensics: I am proficient in analysing network traffic using Wireshark to identify anomalies, investigate security incidents, and contribute to effective digital forensics efforts.
• Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment: I possess hands-on expertise with Kali Linux in virtual labs and develop Bash scripts to automate and execute comprehensive penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
